Center for Climate and Health

Columbia Mailman is at the forefront of climate and health science, housing our Center for Climate and Health in the Department of Environmental Health Sciences since 2008. Recognizing that the scale of climate change requires multi-faceted interventions that cut across disciplines and functions, we are pleased to announce that we are expanding our work in climate and health to become a full-fledged center that will provide leadership across all departments of Columbia Mailman and the Columbia University Irving Medical Center.

We are currently conducting a nationwide search for the inaugural Center Director who will hold the Jeannie and Jonathan Lavine Endowed Professorship in Climate and Health, a position generously funded by Jeannie and Jonathan Lavine, Co-Chair of the Columbia University Board of Trustees.
